All good things come to an end. As one door closes, new ones open. There is an apprehension of moving forward, leaving my comfort zone always scares me at first. Amidst my fears, I realized that both time and opportunity will pass me by if I don’t. I am pensive about what happened, and what will happen, but I am confident. Unlike past experiences, this time around I know I did the very best I could, and gave it a 110%… but just as the Rolling Stones said:
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you might find
You get what you need
Myself aside, I know there will be collateral damage. I am on a precipice of change that will affect the very few people close to me. Like most people, I have good intentions, I prepare for the worst, and hope for the best… and hope that everything will turn out fine.
