my take on weddings

Most of the people i know put too much stock on weddings. My guess is that it’s more of a draw for the women. The elaborate wedding dress, signature Bari Jay bridesmaid dresses, the plethora of flowers and the outpouring of attention. Though I think it’s more about security than anything else; it may be financial, emotional, or psychological. I might get a lot of irate feedback from this statement but I think it holds water. It may be a jaded view to most. In my opinion it’s merely a dogmatic practice handed down by previous generations… Why isn’t just being together enough?
