As promised, SKNANB has enabled the use of the Visa debit cards issued by the now defunct ePassporte. Whihc was inline with their statement posted on their site earlier this week. i was able to withdraw the remainder of my funds on my Virtual Visa account at around 10pm Philippine time (GMT +0800, a couple of minutes ago), which was to my surprised. The old charges and transaction limits are still in effect, to those of you who are wondering.
I’ve read some reports that some ATM from select banks don’t allow the transactions, though I have yet to read specific and concise reports about these. I tried withdrawing in 2 ATM’s (PS Bank and Union Bank) ATM which both dispensed money. I guess this concludes the ePassporte fiasco.
