last day!

Today is my last day of work with one of my employers to whom I’ve tendered my services for roughly 4 years. It had its share of moments, ups and downs… though majority of those were downs. Though they proved to be an invaluable learning experience for me which helped shaped how I see society today.

I do admit that I’ll feel a financial pinch in the coming months, but I had to draw the line somewhere. I do love my job, I just didn’t like doing my job for the said company.

To be fair, it wasn’t that way when they started. I was with them during the inception of their company. Back then we (*ahem* sorry “they”) only had 6 computers in a cramped studio-type room they called an office… inside a subdivision. In those days things were simple and straight-forward. Unfortunately all things must come to an end. Long story short they were ill-equipped to handle their success which they attained in a small period of time… Maybe it was an inherent flaw in their personality, maybe not. Bottom line is: for the most part people will always serve their personal interests first. (if not only) Though a few do it more tactful and classy than most.

This has helped me handle the triumphs in my life in a different manner… much so if I haven’t had experience working with the said company. Amidst all my qualms, the lessons I learned was worth all the tribulations I had to go through.

And with that I open a new… and much more positive chapter in my career!
