When we renewed the registration for my grandmothers Ferrari (a.k.a. a 13 years old Nissan Sentra Series 3) at the Land Transportation Office. I was surprised when I filled out the form and noticed that the car insurance field was mandatory. On the contrary I was pleasantly surprised on how affordable the car issuance plans were. Hence I decided to get the comprehensive plan which basically covers everything.
Thinking back I wonder why a lot of car owners skimp on car insurance. It is not that expensive and it is a good safety net. Especially when you drive here in the Philippines, where almost everybody drives like race car drivers… who are not necessarily good.
