I’ve been listening to Rich Dad, poor Dad (audio book) again these past few days. I’m trying to drill some of the finer points of the book into my head. The book does have some solid points I would like to incorporate in my way of thinking. Though I don’t have have any intentions of getting rich, I do want to be wealthy enough to live a life style of my choosing.
There are a lot of ways to make money, and I would like to earn from the ways of least resistance and greater efficiency. It is also one of the lessons I want my daughter to learn. Earning money is indeed important but not as important as living life. I believe it to be just a means to and end. Which is why I like how the book portrays money as an idea and how it can be used to a person’s advantage rather than the other way around.
Now I am constantly stimulating my mind on ways to generate income passively, I try to consider any and all possibilities that come into mind. Just like my Chinese-Filipino friends who try everything from basketballbetting, to lending, to starting up small corporations. They often don’t succeed but they increase their chances of earning more than the average person.
