comfort factor

I primarily have 1 dress code when I go out, which is a a shirt, jeans and flip flops, with an occasional wind breaker on rainy days. I prioritize comfort above anything else when it comes to clothing. Since I live in a tropical country my getup works, it’s cool, presentable and most important comfortable no matter what kind of weather comes.

Buying shirts as a hobby recently, on off days I often go to the mall in search of that next shirt or ponder on a design for a customized tshirt. I also collect sports t-shirts when I join foot races every month. More often than not, I mainly join the races to get the t-shirt, and add them to my collection. I see it as added incentive for running in the events, as well as a memento.

Despite my collection of shirts, I have yet to design one for myself. I’ve been visiting Cottonable recently and other sites like Deviant Art to give me some inspiration. Hopefully before my birthday arrives, I’ll be able to create my first original t-shirt design. Shirt design has been big business in recent years in the local scene, who knows I may get some of the action and start my own upstart t-shirt company.
