My girlfriend read me a quote yesterday: “the more crap you put with, the more crap you’ll gonna get“. Those words suddenly became evident after I resigned from one of my clients earlier today. I don’t wanna go into details but all I can say is even though they pay you a significant amount doesn’t mean they can blatantly disrespect you. It may have worked on other people but I am not one of those people, I do have self-respect.
Of all the people I’ve worked with in the past 8 years I’ve never met someone as conceited, self-centered, boastful, and presumptuous as this person/people. I guess there’s just no escaping them… At the very least I’ve learned how to deal with such people without compromising my sanity.
I may have some minor financial problems in the near future, but I’d rather have that on my plate rather than dealing with this kind of unnecessary stress… And for the first time in several months, I feel so relaxed, as if a shit load of weight has been lifted off my back.

Hmm how bad was it in the first place?
from my stand-point it was very bad. I really have a low tolerance for people I don’t respect… especially if I work for them.
