Credit cards has been all the rage since the call centers have sunk their jaws into the country. A lot of people, young and old apply for these credit card companies with their own rationale as to why they need it. Only to find out the price they have to pay down the road… both figuratively and literally. Now a lot of these people are in debt mainly because they were ill-equipped to handle the responsibility of getting into debt. It’s been so bad that managing debt is turning into big business in other countries. Which leads me to ponder on starting my own locally, maybe name it something like: abacus debt management to have that Chinese vibe going… If only I were an accountant, I’m sure I’d make a killing.
But who are we kidding, we can squirm all we want, or we may run from our financial obligations, but at the end of the day we still pay a price one way or the other. We either suck it up, and work our asses off until we pay our debt. Or we run away form it and exchange some privileges in society for it. The choice is subjective ofcourse, but the bottom line is you can’t escape it.
