Enter the SANYO Incognito™ (a.k.a. SCP6760). A new mobile handset with a full qwerty keyboard and touch display panel on the front. It opens like a book, unlike its competitors which slide open, which is a nice feature. The keyboard is properly spaced and has a good tactile feel; which is the strongest selling point in my opinion. It is not a great multimedia device but it does excel as a mobile message platform, thanks to its qwerty keyboard. Another strong suite is its competitive price point, at $129.99 (excluding taxes) with free shipping when purchased through the required link. Add to this a $50 unlimited plan with no contract required, it is poised to attract the middle class market or people who are heavy on sms.
The rest of the phone’s features are pretty standard but decent none the less. Though what it lacks in features it makes up for in its solid and simple finish. Though it does offer everything but the kitchen sink, it delivers in what the device is meant to do which is messaging.
I would’ve liked the handset better if it had more connectivity options, but with that price tag, I guess I can’t complain.
