If you ever had your mug plastered on a magazine cover, you’ll be glad to know that it is now possible to do it online and for free none the less. A lot of sites now offer simple but fun image editing; you simply upload a photo then choose from the plethora of free online photo effects. It’s a nice pass time and you may print it and turn it into a postcard of sorts or simply send it as an e-card over an email. Though majority of these kinds of images are used as a joke which works well too, in a metaphorical sense.
The ability to add effects to photos online isn’t new, it is just a “modern” method of the classic magazine covers of the 90′s. It’s nothing new but it does put a new spin on it and which much more options and variety of backdrops to choose from. Adding to the fact that now you can get it for free. Printing is relatively cheap now a days and high quality printers are cheap and readily available to the public.
