If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past 10 years you probably already know what breathalyzer is. If not, it’s basically a device where you blow into and it measures how drunk you are based on the alcohol content in your breath. These devices were commonly seen on shows on the TV like Cops and on MTV’s Busted.
Heineken has made a similar application for your iPhone as part of their KnowTheSigns campaign. You can Download the Heineken Breathalyzer iPhone app for free and try it out with your friends at a party. It is both a good way to have fun and have an idea of how drunk you really are without your personal prejudice. It works by letting your friend “blow” into your iPhone’s microphone and wait for the result. It will then display a character (Fighter, Exhibitionist, Groper, Flirt, Sleeper, Crier, Stumbler) depicting how drunk you are. Though it doesn’t actually measure your B.A.C. (Blood Alcohol Concentration) it is a good and fun reminder of how much alcohol you have consumed… and to keep your actions in check.
