free Paypal to Paypal payments

When you pay a friend or get paid via paypal you get charged a small fee by Paypal depending on how the funds were transferred. The default method is Online Purchases which you can see below has the following charges:

Here are sample transactions I have using Online Purchases with their deductions:

You can bypass these charges if you use Personal Transfers as seen on the first picture above. Note the text: Free when the money comes from PayPal balance or bank account. You can do this by doing the following:

  • Log in to your Account.
  • Click Send Money Tab.
  • Type in the Email Address of the Recipient and the Amount.
  • Now here’s the most important: Choose Personal Payments tab and then choose the purpose of payment. You can choose any of those but I always choose Others.
  • Then click Continue.
