MSI Wind u100 LX+
After months of mental deliberation, I finally purchased the MSI Wind u100 LX+ from Lance_R of TipidPC for 17,995PHP (383USE). The package included:
- Net book unit (piano black)
- N270 Atom Processor
- 2gb RAM
- Windows XP Home (Licensed)
- 6 cell battery
- white leather bag
- charger
- restore key
- 2gb Transcend flash driver (freebie)
- drivers and documentation.
The only catch was that it didn’t have a retail box since it was imported via the gray market. Though he did include a receipt and a MSI warranty card, and the unit had all the trimmings (and smell) of a brand new unit minus the box. The unit itself only has a 3 month shop warranty (unlike other shops who give a 1 year warranty). But for the price and bundle I got; Not to mention that he even delivered it to my doorstep and even demo’ed the unit was more than enough to convince me. Aside from that Lance_R has been a long time member of the TPC community and was one of the first people I’ve transacted with way back in 2003.
