Networking Through Following

When I opened an account in Twitter, I don’t have any followers yet. In order to be followed or have readers, you have to make the first move and introduce yourself to the world. A few days later after joining a following site, I gained about 5 followers.

Aside from my blogger friends who are joining Twitter, I also get some followers whom I don’t personally know from that site I joined. I was skeptical at first what having many followers would do good to me. As twitter is considered micro blogging I learned to use Twitter to promote my blogs and soon realized its importance.

Since a lot of companies use Twitter in advertising, when you have many followers, the probability of your ads getting click are high, especially if you are active in tweeting and following your followers back.

Another site that would help us gain more followers is Huge Following. Upon signing up, you will be following 20 random twitterers. Because you signed up, you already have listed your name in their database and will be posted on the random 20 for others to follow.

If you want to gain more followers, you can join their VIP accounts. You don’t need a separate account to do that. If you’re already a member, you can just choose to have a 1 day, 7 days, 15 days or 1 month access to every member that signs up and have them followed automatically.
