I just had my teeth cleaned this afternoon as planned. Apparently my gum’s were so fucked up that we had to do the cleaning in 2 sessions; Which will take atleast an hour per session. They charge 1,500PHP (31USD) per quadrant, since we are doing mine in 2 session, each visit will set me back 3.000PHP go figure. The doctor used a lot of anesthesia on my gum’s… around 9 shallow and deep injections per quadrant (total of 20+ I lost count). Despite this I still felt some spikes of pain during the procedure -_-.
I still need to let my gum’s heal for about 5 days and check back with my dentist next Saturday to do the other half. After that’s all over with I’ll be proceeding to restoring my teeth which fortunately only entails small fillings. So until then I still have 2 weeks of mouth discomfort…
