I just update my Firefox browser to 3.5 the latest release from mozilla. The updates on this version got the developer side of me excite especially with HTML5 just around the bend.
Some of the highlights that Firefox 3.5 and HTML5 are bringing to the scene that is getting me excited are downloadable web fonts, native JSON spport, open video support, and a plethora of other play things. Not to mention CSS3 is also in the works which will definitely spice things up when it arrives, more so when paired with HTML5.
This just reinforces the reason why I shifted from application development to web development. The change in trends and technologies in web development is just so fast that it rarely gets stale. There’s just so many avenues to explore in terms of development and presentation.
