a carpenter’s tools

My grandfather had a small carpentry business when I was a kid; He had decent tools, a make ship shack as a work space and a workbench made out of woodscraps. Despite this he was still able to produce quality carpentry work up to this day using his the same equiptment he had since he first started.

Now that we are a bit better off financially, my dad and his brothers are slowly acquiring new equipment for him to maybe start up a new business of sorts. One of the first acquisition was a workbench made of steel with all the trappings a carpenter would need; which is a big leap from the make shift one made out of wood scraps he had back in the day.

I wonder what kind of furniture he can produce now that he has acquired the proper tools to do his craft…
