In my 2nd run I tried something different, I ran the first 5km at a steady pace, then rested for 10 minutes then run the last 5km as compared to my 1st attempt were I ran the entire 10k in 1 go. My total time was approximately 58mins which was a big improvement from my previous (disappointing) run a few days back. Now there’s only 2 things I need to improve on for my short term goals:
- cut my time by 25 mins (10km under 33mins)
- run the entire 10km without rest.
Long term goals will just be a progression of 15km – 21km – a full marathon… Keep on running!
