I got offered a part time gig last Wednesday, it’s absically some PHP coding stuff and site maintainance. I’ll be paid on a weekly basis, where I work for 4 hours a day monday to Friday, tenure is also on a per week basis. So I may or may not have a job in the coming weeks, nevertheless it’s still a source of income, I have nothing to complain about. The pay is good, the work is familiar, and the client is reasonable.
At first I was skeptical, since it was out of the blue. Though after recieving my first paycheck a few hours ago as aggreed upon, I got some sense of assurance that if this will continue into the following weeks I have a good chance of getting paid again.
Despite working over the Holy Week, when almost everyone is on a vacation, I am thanksful I got a chance to earn instead of spending mone. I also enjoyed working again, something I haven’t felt for quite some time now.
