a trying week

This week has has been eventful so say the least. I was pondering on what to do last week since I was growing tiresome of my routine… and it seemed I found what I was looking for… A Chinese curse came to mind:

May you live in interesting times

Which basically means a life with much upheavals and no peace. With that said another euphamism for contentment came to mind:

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

The company I’ve been working for is on the brink of bankrupcy, and employee unrest and dissatisfaction towards our superiors has hit an all time high. 2 of my coleagues have tendered in their letter of resignation this week. With our wages delayed before a long weekend posses to be the final nail on the coffin for other employees who are already considering resignation. I personally lost a client and I’m skeptical that we’ll get paid next week, I just hope I’m wrong. Never the less I’m already in the process of looking for other sources of employment.

To cap the week off, my headphones suddenly died and the control panel knob on my logitech z-5500 speaker broke! My Sennheiser cx300 suddenly died on me while I was using it (chillin’ out on my bed), this was my 3rd pair already; my previous pairs broke down in a similar fashion. So I won’t be patronizing their products anymore. I’ll be trying out JBL or Bose, which ever fits my budget.

My music is very important to me, I need it when I work-out, run, work, and go out. So for both my speakers and headphones to give way really aggrivated the hell out of me. I just hope I can find an expedient and affordable resolution to my sound problems.

note to self: a life may be uneventful but it is peaceful.
