These types of scams seem to be the “in” thing now a days, but this is the first time I actually got picked on. The scammer basically poses as a relative asking for something, in most cases money. This has been a classic modus operandi which I think started with snail mail letters.

It was an entertaining experience, though I find it hard to imagine that people still fall prey to these types of scams.
